Our Wedding

Our wedding was the most amazing day we could ever imagine!  We were so fortunate to share it with all of our friends and families who travelled from all over the country to be there with us.

The wedding was held on October 16, 2005 at the Carlyle on the Green.  The Carlyle is set in the middle of Bethpage State Park in Farmingdale, New York.  If Bethpage sounds familiar to you it may be because in 2002 the golf course hosted the U.S. Open. Bethpage Black is one of the greatest golf courses in the country!We were very lucky that the day of the wedding was actually sunny and warm.  For the 8 days before the wedding it poured. Non-stop. For the entire 8 days. In fact, part of the 18th hole on the Black course looked like a lake. But it stopped the day before and was just right on the 16th.

Everyone had a fantastic time at the wedding. The food was delicious and the drinks were flowing. The band - the Central Park Orchestra - did a great job of getting everyone up on to the dance floor. The florist - Dalsimer - put together a great combination of flowers for our table centerpieces. All-in-all, it went about as well as it could have.
